2023 SSWAA National Conference - Virtual Access

Description

SSWAA will be hosting an in-person format for our annual National Conference in 2023. SSWAA believes there is great value in gathering in person for networking and professional engagement. However, SSWAA also understands individuals, schools, and communities continue to be impacted by the pandemic and that some travel restrictions exist. Therefore, SSWAA is offering a virtual option for individuals who are not able to travel for the in-person event. 

SSWAA will be recording pre-selected sessions during the live conference event. 

• Individuals who choose to register for the virtual sessions will have access to 8 pre-selected sessions (11.5 CEs). 
• Individuals will have access to these sessions over 6 weeks in an on-demand platform (April 17-May 29, 2023). 
• Virtual attendees will need to watch the full recorded session, complete a post-test (80% passing rate), and complete an evaluation for credit. 
• Upon completion, individuals will be able to immediately download a certificate for their records. 
• Access will end on May 29, 2023, and virtual attendees should plan accordingly to ensure adequate time to complete all needed sessions.  No extensions will be available.

Refund Policy

Due to the format of this event, there will be no refunds offered.  Since the event is a virtual event, all content will be available to registrants via recording and is not dependent upon attendance at the live event.

Content will be available for on-demand viewing for 6 weeks and no extensions will be granted.  On-demand recordings will be available from April 17^th – May 29^th, 2023.

School Social Work Association of America, 1789, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers.  State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit.  School Social Work Association of America maintains responsibility for this course.  ACE provider approval period:  7/27/2022 - 7/27/2023.

Please note: if your state does not accept ASWB-ACE approval, you may be unable to receive continuing education credit.
