Webinar - Developing Your Role as a New School Social Worker – What do You Need to Know?

Tuesday, September 15, 2020 (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Each of us has a "why" that led us to the profession of school social work. For many of us, school social work is a way to effect change on a real level for a student, family. a community, or our nation immediately. As school social workers, our understanding of family and community systems and ability to link students and their families with community services essential to promote student success are valuable assets to the educational community. Thus, school social workers are in a pivotal position to be true agents of change, and this webinar will provide a foundation for your practice and enhance your role as a mental health professional.

Please note that CEUs are given for LIVE attendance at the webinar event.  SSWAA is working to make fall webinars available to watch at a later date - more information and registration to watch recorded content will be coming.  *Refunds are not offered for webinar events and registration closes at 5:00pm Eastern the day prior to the event to ensure a smooth event.
