Although the roles of school social workers can vary from school to school, district to district, and state to state, there are core competencies and responsibilities new practitioners need to know to effectively reduce social, emotional, physical, and academic barriers impacting academic achievement and success. The following webinar presentation will share survey/research results regarding the tools and resources needed by early career school social workers. Additionally, the webinar will help you gain a deeper understanding of the various vital roles and responsibilities that are encompassed within our practice.
