Due to an overwhelmingly positive response, SSWAA is extending the window of access to this webinar.  Please note, individual registering after April 17th, will be registering to watch the recorded webinar.  CEUs will be available for any individuals who watch the recording and submit an evaluation by May 15th at 5:00pm Eastern time.

Webinar Description: As we are all adapting to Distance Learning and our new realm of school social work service delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic, many school social workers are confronting ethical concerns related to equity, social justice and how to ensure culturally responsive services. Through the following objectives, this webinar will provide essential insight into how to begin addressing underlying equity issues confronting our students and families during this global health crisis:  

Learning Objectives:

1. Explore how the Coronavirus pandemic is creating new layers of inequity;

2.  Explore what successful distance learning looks like from an Equity Lens;

3.  Understand and Utilize a Social Justice Framework to Pandemic Response;

4.  Gain strategies for responding to inequities.
