Policies, Procedures, Timelines for SSWAA's 2026 Virtual Conference

Registration and Access

• Registration is open between April 20, 2026 thru August 28, 2026. 
• Invoices/purchase orders are not accepted after July 20, 2026 at 5:00pm EST. After July 20, 2026, payment must be made online at time of registration via credit card.
• Registrations and/or payments completed on or after the start of the event (August 10, 2026) may experience 3-5 business-day delay to receive access to conference content.
• Access to conference sessions and content will begin at 9:00am EST on August 10, 2026. Access will end at 11:59pm on September 20, 2026; please plan your participation and completion of all CE requirements accordingly to ensure adequate time for all needed sessions. No extensions available. No exceptions. 
• Registrations cannot transfer from in-person event to virtual event; Registration for each event is distinct and separate. SSWAA's virtual conference is NOT an extension of the in-person annual conference; it is an alternative approach for those unable to attend the in-person event.

Rates and Payment

>> Full & Premiere, Student, Retired Members: $310.00

>> Basic & Non-Members: $475.00* 

• Invoices/purchase orders accepted through July 20, 2026 at 5:00pm EST. Invoices/purchase orders are not accepted after 5:00pm EST on July 20, 2026. After July 20, 2026, payment must be made online at time of registration via credit card.
• Purchase Orders are a promise of payment and not considered payment confirmation. Make plans for payment in advance if registering with a Purchase Order so that check payment is received promptly. 
• Virtual Conference attendees will not receive access to the virtual conference sessions or content until payment has been received.
• *Basic and Non-Member conference registrations include one-year of complimentary Full Membership with SSWAA.
• Refund Policy: No refunds offered for Virtual Conference. Since the event is a virtual event, all content will be available to registrants via recording and is not dependent upon attendance/participation at the live and/or virtual event(s).

2026 Virtual Conference Max CE Total = 12.5 CEs

• Virtual Conference 2026 content is offered for on-demand viewing for six (6) weeks. On-demand recordings will be available from August 10, 2026 at 9:00 EST thru September 20, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. No extensions will be granted. 

  About CE approval and licensing regulations:

  School Social Work Association of America SSWAA, #1789, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. School Social Work Association of America SSWAA maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 07/27/2022 - 07/27/2029. 

  Please Note: SSWAA is approved via ASWB's ACE Program to provide CEs. Each state and licensing body has varying requirements and approval processes. It is up to the individual learner to determine whether ASWB/ACE CEs are accepted for licensure needs. More information about ASWB's ACE program can be found on their website: ACE: Approved Continuing Education - Association of Social Work Boards. Individuals will be directed to their state and/or licensing entity for information about individual licensure requirements.

• Attention New Yorkers: SSWAA's 2026 Virtual Conference does not provide New York (NYSSSWA) registration for approved CE Credits.
