Students and families coping with school closures due to COVID-19 are facing many challenges that school social workers are aware of. Students with a diagnosis of Autism are experiencing unique challenges during this time, as they do not have access to in-person special education services that can help them to be successful in the school setting. How can school social workers support our students and their families? This webinar will provide a brief overview of Autism, strategies and tools to use with students in the virtual world, as well as how to support families. This webinar is eligible for 1 CEU.
